Climbing Mount Fuji has always been popular with the foreigners whom are lucky to be in Japan during the summer months, which is the only time unexperienced climbers can safely climb.

However, this year 2020, due to the COVID-19 all major trails and mountain huts as well as other public facilities including bio-toilets on Mt. Fuji will remain closed.
